WVSport models are designed and produced in the foothills of the Dolomite Hills, Italy.
Each model is created using CAD design technology that simulates the different phases of the walking experience.
Advanced components and construction methods are used to create the models like the use of Vibram soles and a patented Support System which means the fit is always comfortable and secure.
Development samples are lab tested for days for their abrasion resistance, durability and water resistance. New models can take months sometimes years to develop.
The factory features one of the largest photovoltaic plants in Italy which means that 70% of the power used to produce WVSport footwear is from solar.
As well as working under EU employment, discrimination and health & safety law the factory has their own Charter of Human Responsibilities (or Code of Ethics) which helps ensure the company is committed to respecting the rights, work and dignity of its employees.
For sourcing the materials to create each model we work with the factory using a traceability system that enables us to trace back every step in the production process so we always know what has been used and where it has come from.

Shoe coming apart at the seems and on the uppers. Flaking and chipping. I where these shoes 5 days a week for work. I work in a hotel as I valet and wanted some strong vegan boots to hold up outside and inside. Unfortunately, these are not it. I would add pics if this email let me.
Sturdy construction but still really comfy right from the first wear. True to size and allow for wiggle room. Being waterproof is a big reason for buying them. Pleased with purchase.
I walk all day, up and down the hills of San Francisco for my work, and these boots have been doing the job - three months in now - where no other footwear that I tried before did. Hopefully they come back in stock, and for good, so they can carry me through the rest of my carrier. I am a true US 10 in men's and am in a US 10.5 | EU 44.
Customer service was a dream, informing me via a personally written email that they anticipated a delay in the initial expected delivery date, were very sorry, and were taking corrective action by going express through a different shipping vender, and were waiving the shipping cost for the trouble. Ultimately, I ended up receiving the boots earlier than the initial expected delivery date.
Their is a slight aesthetic issue, which is that some of the black top layer has peeled off around the toe area, leaving gray. Though this has not affected the boots' performance - the waterproofing remains impeccable from where I stand - I could see how some wearing them purely for fashion might have a problem. While this may have come from the peculiar level of hard-wearing I give to these boots, which includes the propping open of gates with the toe area of my shoe while I return keys to their key holders, it is something that Will's might look into if (hopefully when) they are preparing to reboot this model. Management at my station has not mentioned anything to me about the wear, but another station might be more strict.
What I would really love is to work with Will's to make these the first USPS-approved footwear that doesn't pigeon-hole the employee into participating in an atrocity. You guys have my email.
I've had these boots for a few months now, and so far I really like them. This might be an unfair comparison, but they're not breaking in like typical leather boots of a similar style. They're a bit stiffer and I've had to use an insole to customize them for my feet/ankles, but neither of those things are flaws. I've had them in pretty serious rain for the past few days and my feet stayed dry. Curious to see what their condition will be like a year from now.
