With a piece of clothing, footwear or an accessory, you can take a simple classic and elevate it through the attention to its details. When creating or revising our styles we focus on the materials, the fit, the finish and how they “feel”. The combination of these elements is sometimes known as their handwriting. You can tell it’s a WVS as you put it on, wear it and then wear it for years as we only use the best quality vegan, sustainable materials we can find.

This piece is no exception. It’s a classic mid-length single breasted jacket with a straight, modern cut. We cut it from a cotton velour woven in Italy (Better Cotton Initiative, Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certified certificate 1108929.0). It’s super soft to the touch with a subtle grain, giving it depths of character and a textured appearance. It’s one of those pieces that’s a joy to put on.

The fact that it’s made from cotton means it reacts well to different temperatures making it ideal for transitional seasons. This is helped by the neutral shade of beige that plays well with other colours. Being cut straight and mid-length makes it practical for most outfits. It easily slips over layers with the Italian made REACH certified viscose full lining.

The oversized collar means it looks good closed as well as open using the 6 matt finish buttons made from recycled compressed paper and resin (Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certified). The two spacious patch pockets on the front fit your daily essentials.

Like everything we make & do, this jacket is certified Carbon Neutral. There is no packaging waste, we only use biodegradable plastic free packaging from the paper bags to the paper tape we use to seal them.
