Nuestras notas

    Dock Boots.

Absolutely love. Well made. Comfortable. Rugged. Once they break in they go the distance. I love my Dock Boots. On my second pair. First lasted a good long time. Please keep making them.

    Great!

I have been wearing these boots for about 2 months now, and they are excellent.
They fit to size and are overall quite comfortable.
The vegan leather surprised me as scratches can be simply wiped off with a finger.
To this day they still look as new.

My criticism would be with the inside of the heel that is quite inflexible and has a sharp-ish edge that is still wearing in.

Another thing is that the boots have a particular unpleasant odour when removing them after extended wear, one that is different from my usual nasty feet smell I’m used too. That could just be me though.

    Might still break in?!

I’ll start with the positives: these boots are absolutely beautiful and completely waterproof as well. I’m also sure that they will last a very long time because they seem quite sturdy. However, I’ve had them for about two months now and have worn them almost every day and they have not broken in at all so far. They still give me painful blisters on both heels and they make my feet cramp although they fit well?! Whenever I come back from my walks, my feet hurt. Maybe these boots simply weren’t made for long walks? (I walk between 7 and 10km every day) I’ve tried wearing thick socks because in thin ones my feet literally started bleeding at the heels. But even in thick socks I still get blisters. I’ve had boots from WVS before and they were super comfortable so I’m quite disappointed. I expected more for the price.
I’ll keep trying to break them in. I think it might be an issue with vegan leather in general. It took over a year for my vegan Doc Martens to break in. I’m just surprised at how many reviews say these boots are so comfortable when I’m having these issues.
